About Hillyer
IA&A at Hillyer is a program of International Arts & Artists, (IA&A), a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing cross-cultural understanding and exposure to the arts through exhibitions, programs, and services to artists, arts institutions, and the public.
Hillyer is a non-commercial gallery that is committed to providing support for contemporary artists who are local, national, and international. Artists who have exhibitions at Hillyer can sell their work, but those arrangements are handled independently between the artist and patron. Hillyer is also committed to serving the community by offering a range of engagement opportunities with flexible hours for visitation.
Exhibitions
Hillyer offers monthly exhibitions, which feature solo artists selected from its Annual Call for Proposals which is released during the summer of each year. Each month features three solo and/or curated exhibitions that feature, on average, 30 to 35 artists and curators a year. Hillyer also offers group exhibitions in partnerships with independent curators, cultural organizations, and embassies. Visit our current exhibitions page to learn more.
