First Friday

On every First Friday of the month, Hillyer opens for extended evening hours from 6 – 8 p.m. (5 – 6 p.m. for members) to celebrate the grand opening reception of our newest exhibitions featuring local, regional, national, and/or international artists and curators. “First Friday” at Hillyer also coincides with Dupont Circle’s monthly artwalk.

On the first Friday in September, Hillyer invites the public to see three exhibitions: At the Equinox by Anne Bouie, And Still We Rise by Anna U Davis and Revenge is the Least I Deserve by G. Pack. We invite you to take this opportunity to meet the artists in person and mingle with friends and colleagues.
