The Washington Sculptors Group’s HelpDesk Workshop Series is designed to offer WSG members and DC area artists practical information to improve their business skills. This first workshop, led by business consultant Danielle Glosser, is titled “Networking for Artists: Getting Down to Business.” Glosser is the Founder and Principal of Client Raiser LLC. The workshop will help artists learn how to boost their ability to cultivate contacts, and improve the way they initiate conversations about their art. Join Danielle Glosser for a hands-on session where you’ll explore the importance of first impressions, methods for seeking information, and tactics for developing contacts.

LIFE DRAWING

Every Monday
6-9 p.m.
Drop-in (based on availability): Member $10/ Non-Member $15

The Life Drawing series is an independent figure drawing class that allows students to work from a nude model in your choice of mediums. While skill level is varied, there is no immediate instruction allowing each student to practice their drawing skills at their own pace. The Life Drawing series at IA&A at Hillyer is the perfect opportunity to practice your skills and independently work with access to a live model.

While easels, chairs and artistic ambiance are provided by Hillyer, artists are required to bring their own drawing materials. Space will be limited to 30 attendees. Walk-ins are welcome to join if there are seats available.

Interested in modeling? Contact Paul Pietsch at  pietsch_paul@yahoo.com . We are grateful to Paul for his volunteer support of our life drawing series.
