Construction

Jarri Hasnain is an architect by trade, but uses printmaking to explore space and structure beyond a visual composition of elements. Central to his work is the act of making, influenced by process, method, and material. He is interested in how material forms, lines, and colors create relationships and depth to form a whole. The Construction series is an exploration of materials and processes through the play of explicit and implied form, line, layering, texture, and opacity. Each piece in the series exists independently but also remains in dialogue with the rest. Together they form a context.
